Individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities
An important part of ReVision's work is engaging with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Workshops and partnerships focus on individuals’ abilities, building community and relationships. ReVision has been in residence at River Terrace Education Campus, where students have performed with ReVision on stage at Dance Place. Other partner organizations include The Arc, Melwood, St. Coletta of Greater Washington and Kennedy Institute.
ReVision firmly believes that everybody has the opportunity to dance and express themselves. Reach out to have ReVision teaching artists engage with your students.
“My students were so engaged and are now very excited to see the performance. Everyone did such an amazing job of helping all students to feel included, valued, and allowed them to enjoy dance. It was really amazing to watch.”
